The Dunsford Summer Show 2026 - 30th Anniversary!
Saturday the 4th July 2026 12-5PM
Set in the glorious Teign Valley, the Dunsford Show captures the very best of a traditional Devon village show. Bursting with fun, entertainment, and attractions for all ages, it’s the perfect family day out – with something to delight everyone.
About the 2026 show
2026 marked a special year for the Dunsford Summer Show — the event’s 30th anniversary!
We booked in some exciting acts for the main ring to mark the occasion. Dartmoor Hill ponies returned, along with Britain’s Got Talent star Andrei Burton, who brought his daring bike skills and was joined by a Parkour free runner. Visitors also enjoyed racing against ferrets, listening to Hatherleigh Silver Band, and watching local school children perform the Maypole.
The produce show, classic car show and dog show all featured too, and Wildwood Archery joined for the first time, offering have-a-go archery sessions. There was plenty to join in with.
The children’s games area included a climbing wall and surf simulator that year, and St Marys once again ran their popular craft and entertainment tent. Around the showground, local makers, producers, charities and organisations set up stalls, offering plenty to see, support and buy.
Food and drink were well covered too, with the tea tent, BBQ and bar serving chicken schwarma wraps, Tom’s Pies, an array of salads and Oinkers meat BBQ.
The show ran on Saturday 4th July from midday to 5pm — a fantastic community afternoon.
The show raises funds for the PTFA, helping with the cost of running the school pool – this was the reason for starting the show 30 years ago! We also fund trips, visitors and experiences for the children to compliment and enhance their education.
The 2026 was sponsored by Knight Frank Exeter

We had over 30 stall holders and exhibitors for 2026
We carefully selected the best local exhibitors — from artisan producers, to charities close to our values, to unusual crafts you won’t find elsewhere.

For 2026, we brought together an incredible line-up of attractions and entertainment for all ages. Highlights included the sensational Andrei Burton and his thrilling Mountain Bike Trials Show – as seen on Britain’s Got Talent – joined by a mystery guest performing breathtaking parkour displays.
Alongside the main ring acts, there was face painting, a produce show, dog show, and plenty more attractions and activities to keep the whole family entertained throughout the day.
